Description Our Psychosocial Intervention Workers provide advice / guidance, assessment, brief and structured interventions, and group programmes to individuals experiencing difficulties with gambling.

Alongside supporting recovery pathways the post holder will provide a stepped care approach of distinct interventions including Brief interventions and EBI (Extended Brief Intervention); One to one counselling, guidance, advice and support; Mutual Aid; Relapse Prevention; Recovery self-help Groups; Recovery Courses / Aftercare.

The successful candidate will hold a minimum level 4 Professional Diploma in Counselling qualification or equivalent.

It is expected the successful candidate will spend 1 day per week in Sunderland, and the other two across the North East.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
